Technology is effecting our teens more than ever. Teens send an average of 50 texts a day. There are many advantages and disadvantages to this. It can be a very dangerous distraction or it can help establish ride times or a variety of other useful things. Personally I think it's useful because I rarely text in class and when I do text it's mainly for information like "when am I getting a ride?, or what time do I new to be there." According to the article 87 percent of parents believe that the Internet helps their kids in school" I disagree wih this statistic, I believe that the Internet helps every single kid in school because of the variety of information that you can access on the Internet. Also you can do fun things like Facebook or twitter. The times are changing and we are living in a technologically advancing world making life easier

Texting in school may not be an issue to you, but what about other kids? Can you see it as a problem for others?
